- I am a Mechanical Engineer (PE) . Duirng 70's and 80's worked in solar thermal , first as chief engineer for Alten Corp (Palo Alto) , then as Manager of Tech Services for LUZ Construction Inc during design /build/comissioning of the 80 MWe SEGS VIII CSP plant at Harper's Lake.

Ressurection of Congressional Renewables ITC Bill - call for emails/letters
House Dems are again trying to get long-term ITC passed for renewables.. Bill is HR5351 (Charles Wrangel NY). Passage is virtualy assured in House - but again there will be a struggle in the Senate. Last time cloture vote failed by one vote - Sen Landrau , LA.
It is vital that US voters ( and any willing others as well) in our community begin to write and email our Senators ASAP to urge their support. This is espcially true for anyone from Louisianna or from any Republican district , especilall… Continue
