How to get financing for a CSP project/technology

Hello - I was hoping anyone out there could help point me in the direction of any investment groups who are looking to fund a CSP technology company or project? This may sound crazy, but my company has just finished the desing and engineering development on our new CSP technology which we truly believe we can build for under $1 million a megawatt including the powerhouse side as we have developed our own in-house turbines which are more efficient than others on the market and cost much less to build - nothing like a stirling or tesla. We have already tested the technology at 5kw, and we are now starting construction on a 100kw demo site in California which should be completed in about 2 months. We have completely financed the development of our company internally so far as we own several other large companies, but it is now time to take our company to the next level. We believe this is the technology breakthrough that the industry has been looking for as this will make us more competitive than coal plants. Our system has full computer controlled two axis tracking and we believe we should be able to generate about 1/2 megawatt and acre.

We are putting together a higly qualified team to take the company to the next level. Since we have several other profitable companies under ownership, we have not had to go after capital, so this is a bit new to us. Any help anyone could give would be greatly appreciated.

As well, we are searching for possible joint venture opportunities and PPA's...Thanks .

We are engaged in funding renewable energy projects and developing management teams.

Our funding sources are both private and vc based. We work with early stage companies both with startegic issues and in placing veteran executives to aid in the rapid growth of the company.

With offices in Boson, Austin, and Northern California we are geographically and industry diverse to respond with immediate and specific assistance.

Please send me your information and direct contact so that I can send this to the proper associates and be in contact with you by early next week to set up an appointment with I beleive from your note a California director.

We are a company active in different part of the photovoltaic value chain (production and installation). Currently we run more than 30MW of pv plants and we are planning to enter the csp market too. We are currently looking for tech partners to develop a 30-50 MW project here in Spain.
Please send your contact and i´ll be glad to get in touch.

We would appreciate info on feasibility of building a CST or standard photo-voltaic plant for 4 year old subdivision of 309 homes.

We are in Avondale Az - prime area for solar, and the HOA has a potential site of around 200,000 s.f. for a solar plant.
If you Google-Map the subdivision it is bounded by 103rd ave to 107 ave and Thomas Road to south-side of Windsor Ave.

This is VERY PRELIMINARY - - we have not delved into the legalities, permitting, licensing etc. Salt River Project currently provides power to the sub-division.

Current estimated power cost to the entire subdivison is approx. $700,00 per year.

We'd like to explore this project with you, assuming it is within your targeted marketing area.

Hello Dean,

I would like to discuss the possibility of providing a solar-thermal ORC plant in the 200-400kW size range. I believe we could squeeze that into the 5 acres you mentioned.

I just wanted to give everyone an update on our technology. We have finally finished the production of our 100kw demo engine and will begin testing this next week. We remain confident that we will be able to produce large scale CSP projects for under $0.07kw and we will shortly have a complete demo ready for any interested parties to review in person. We have not only developed our own collectors that can be cost effectively constructed and do not require any special manufacturing equipment for large scale production, but we also have developed our own in-house power generation technology so we will not be subject to expensive or long industry delays on turbines. Incidentally, our power generation technology is also nearly twice as efficient as a turbine, so this is how we have been able to drastically reduce our overall cost as we only need about the half the collectors as anyone else would need. If there are any other CSP companies who have their own proprietary collectors who would like to make their projects more profitable by instantly cutting the required collectors in half, feel free to contact us as we are happy to do joint ventures with you on projects. If anyone would like further info - feel free to respond or send an email to me at marty@focusedsolar.com

My company (Sorgenia, a major Italian utility) owns 50% of Noventi, a venture capital fund based in Palo Alto, CA, which is strongly focused on innovative technologies in the power sector. They have already invested in several start-ups in various fields, the might be interested in CSP as well, since Italy is one of the promising markets in Europe for such technology. If you are interested in meeting with Noventi, I can introduce you to its management.
